Handspun Cotton Ikat Sarong, Savu, Indonesia, Early 20th C. Woman's tubular garment, "ei worapi". The term worapi refers to the non-traditional designs used for this garment. The roses and cherubs are from a European source, possibly an embroidery book. Constructed from two pieces. Size: 5'3'' x 1'10'' (160 x 56 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
