A fine large collection comprising: Eight signed photographs, mostly early picture postcards depicting Olivier in various roles including Hamlet and Othello, each signed in ink on the image, each about 5 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches, a few with a collector's neat backstamp; Three typed letters signed, including a 1945 letter on Old Vic stationery thanking the recipient for a letter praising Henry IV, toned, folds; and two letters, 1953-54, on the stationery of Laurence Olivier Productions/St. James Theatre, both regarding the difficulties of filming The Blood of the Martyrs; and twenty-three early Playbills, all from London productions unless noted, comprising: The Marvelous History of Saint Bernard, Kingsway Theatre, 1926; Henry VIII, Sybil Thorndike's Season at The Empire Theatre, 1926; The Taming of the Shrew, Royal Court Theatre, 1928; Journey's End (As Captain Stanhope), signed on the cover by R.C.
