Catalog Note:
Clewell purchased ceramic blanks for several Ohio potteries including Weller, Owens and Roseville. He then electroplated the ceramic with copper on which he added patination to resemble an item buried for centuries. His best examples have a crusty green, black and brown surface.

Very minor rubs and abrasions. Excellent original patina. No chips, cracks or repairs.
