Large handcrafted painted wooden model depicting the American sidewheel packet ship Adam Jacobs, together with an assortment of accessories, on rectangular base, apparently unmarked. Note: The Adam Jacobs was originally built in 1858 at Brownsville, Pennsylvania and sailed the Mississippi until being dismantled at Madison, Indiana in 1870. Approx. h. 22.5", w. 61.75", d. 20.75".
