L, p. 1 di errata, 2, con varie ill. geometriche nel testo e ornati xilografici. Ottimo esemplare, impresso su carta greve. Raccolta elegantemente impressa di tre brevi saggi matematici del Lorgna, sulle serie algebriche, sulle equazioni cubiche, e su "una Cissoide differente da una Dioclea". Antonio Mario Lorgna 1735-1798, veronese, allievo del Poleni, fu tra i maggiori matematici italiani della seconda metà del XVIII sec.; ebbe interessi multiformi, occupandosi anche di fisica, meteorologia, ingegneria civile e militare, bonifiche; operò anche come ingegnere idraulico al servizio della Repubblica di Venezia.
