Exhibited: Philadelphia Museum of Art; American Folk Art Museum, NYC; Gallery at Bristol-Myers Squibb (cover image of exhibition catalog). Published: ''New York Beauties: Quilts from the Empire State'' by Atkins, Tepper and Kogan, New York: Dutton Books/Museum of American Folk Art, 1992; and ''Quilts 2004: An Engagement Calendar'' by Laura Fisher, New York: Barnes & Noble. Catalog note: ''According to family lore, [the Lomax sisters] were school teachers who created the pictorial blocks based on pictures they savored in National Geographic Magazine.
