Description
Pair of 19th century hand tinted lithographs/engravings of fishing scenes. "Fly-Fishing For Trout" shows one gentleman having cast his lure into the river and another gentle running the background, and "Live-Bait Fishing For Jack" shows two gentlemen fishing and one reeling in his conquest. Both included titles and "Dedicated to the Members of the Waltonian Society, by a Brother Angler" and "London. Published by J. M. Cormick, 62, Gracechurch Street." in the bottom center. "Painted by J. Pollard" on bottom left and "Engraved by R. G. Reeve" on bottom right. Both excellent condition. Both artworks measure 16.25" x 13.5", frames measure 27" x 24.25".
