Comprising a memorial portrait of a red-haired child wearing black, English School, circa 1850, gilt and enamel case, verso with pin; a portrait of a baby in white gown wearing coral necklace, English School, circa 1800, gilt locket case, silk backing verso; a memorial portrait of a young girl with blond hair and blue ribbons at shoulders, possibly English School (or American), gilt locket case, engraved, "J.E.C./ March 1863", aperature with woven hairwork verso; a portrait of a young child with blond ringlets and off-the-shoulder dress, possibly English School, octagonal gilt case with pin verso, semiprecious backing (possibly green tourmaline), paper label verso inscribed, "Herbert...of Adl...For Herbert...of old...Hall (?)", a portrait of a child in white dress with blue ribbons and wearing coral necklace, Continental School, gilt "tableau" locket frame; a memorial portrait of young girl in a white dress with green sash and ribbons at shoulders, Continental School, signed and dated, "Corno 1817," l.l., gilt locket frame, verso with enamel and aperature containing woven hairwork; a memorial portrait of an infant in bonnet and white dress, by Melanie Bost (French, active early 19th century), signed and dated, "Mie Bost 1845", l.r., gilt locket case, mother-of-pearl backing; and a portrait of a young girl with blue ribbons at shoulders, by Melanie Bost (French, active early 19th century), signed in gilt, "Mie Bost," l.r., enamel, gilt, and seed pearl brooch case, with pin verso.
