Post Civil War Officer Lot of 2 Discharge Documents of Captain Samuel C. Lawrence dated October 2nd 1865, after completing 10 years of military service and being wounded in action at Sudley Springs Hill during his service he is discharged from duty by General Order #17 of the Commonwealth. Lawrence had obtained the rank of Brigadier General during his service. Discharge document is in nice condition being on heavy white paper having tri fold creases measures 10-3/4" x 8-1/2" General Order document is in nice condition on light white paper having tri fold creases and measuring 8" x 10".
