Water Landscape by English artist Anthony Vandyke Copley Fielding (1787 - 1855) is a watercolor depicting water scene in the mountains with various vessels. Signed lower left corner by Copley and mat has Copley Fielding plate on it. Watercolor on paper and board. Comes with mat but not framed. Commonly referred to as Copley Fielding, Copley obtained artistic fame and fortune during his life for his beautiful landscape watercolors. At a young age, Fielding was a pupil of John Varley and later an exhibitor of the Watercolour Society. Anthony Vandyke Copley Fielding has been exhibited throughout the World along with many of his pieces held in museums and private collections. Fielding art has sold for over $30,000 at auction. Condition
Good overall condition. Mat is older and has some cracking at corners. Art reviewed via naked eye and under UV light.
