This is a beautiful 2001 Fender Stratocaster 62 Reissue in excellent, almost unplayed condition. SERIAL NUMBER: V133598. COLOR: Dakota Red Nitrocellulose Finish. WEIGHT: 8lbs 7.2ozs (3kg/830g). Guitar is 100% original, no modifications. The Dakota Red Nitro finish is exquisite, let alone a rare finish. What’s nice looking is the mint green pickguard (very faint pick marks on the guard), combing with Dakota Red looks fabulous. All the chrome hardware is gleaming. Original 3-way switch is still installed. Matching pot codes are stamped 0046 CTS, denoting the CTS Co. dated the 46th week of 2000. The neck has beautiful maple grains and a gorgeous rosewood fretboard. Neck has a 7.25 radius, medium C shape profile. The frets are virtually no play wear to them. Decal is above the finish. We are not taking the body off the neck for fear of disrupting the nitrocellulose body finish. This beautiful 62 Strat seems like it has been in a capsule for 21 years. This Strat comes fully loaded with its original Fender Brown Tolex case with plush orange interior with keys in excellent condition, film is still on the latches. Hang tags, manuals and Fender sticker, unopened polishing cloth, spring envelope with additional springs, additional 5-way switch, tremolo arm, ashtray bridge cover, and guitar strap.
