Here is an early 1982 Fender 52 Reissue Telecaster Blackguard body from Fullerton, CA. Made in USA. Weight: 6lbs 4.2ozs (2kg/840g). The collector stated he had this body for over 25 years and never took it out of the container he stored it in. Most likely the reason why we don’t see any pickguard or bridge impressions on the body, mentioned for clarity. Original butterscotch blonde nitrocellulose finish, this body is in particularly good vintage condition. Beautiful ash wood grains through the finish. Handwritten in the neck pocket is the word VINTAGE. Notice the two Dow plugs on the bottom side of the body. This is the same tooling method Fender used in 1982 as it was done with the original Blackguards between 1950 to 1954. There are scratches and marks on this body, however it is still exceptionally clean for being 40 years old. Would be nice to see this body back in action.
