Description

This is a an unusual antique quack medical device dating to the early 20th century. This device was used for the application of low current, high frequency electricity to the body. Violet ray devices first became popular in the early 1900s. The makers of these instruments claimed the devices to be useful in treating various skin conditions and for minor pain relief.

Condition

In overall good cosmetic condition with some wear to the case exterior. Fading to the interior. We did not test the working capability of the device.
