Description
Egypt, Late Period or later (747-332 BC). Brilliant blue faience amulet in the form of one of the Sons of Horus, representing the falcon-headed deity, Qebehsenuef. The Four Sons of Horus, also known as the Four Children of Horus, Qebehsenuef, Duamutef, Hapi and Amset, protected the vital organs of the body after mummification. 3-5/16"H x 3/4"W. Attached to a black lucite block.
