Submarine Engineering of To-Day. A Popular account of the Methods by which Sunken Ships are Raised, Docks Built, Rocks Blasted Away, Tunnels Excavated, and many other Feats of Engineering beneath the Surface of the Water, together with a Description of the Latest Types of Submarine Boats, Charles Domville-Fife. 1914, Lippincott, Philadelphia. An antiquarian book with gold embossed cover showing a diving helmet, that covers a broad array of helmet diving work and has 98 illustrations and diagrams. The Content listing and partial Illustrations are shown in the photos. A copy recently listed for over $1,000. This one shows some external wear with some loss at the top of the spine and a split between the spine and top of the front cover. There are the remnants of two stickers on the spine as shown. These could be removed with care. The content is sound and in good condition for its age. Ex library with remnants of card pocket and the cover color as bled onto the inside front and back cover page as shown. An uncommon antiquarian diving book in good overall condition apart from the spine.
