Item Details

Description

Original Electric Boat Company folder with Temp Lights written on the top. The folder contains internal ELBc papers from 1943 regarding the status of submarines, original purchase orders for equipment related to lighting. There is also a collection of material from the late 1950s and early 1960s related to submarine launchings and commissions including USS Nautilus, USS Manta, USS Seawolf, USS Tullibee, USS Skipjack. An issue of The Scope from March 17, 1960, is included. Lastly, a multi-page memorandum on conduct at different international ports circa 1960. The folder contains some unique information and a treasure trove of 1960s submarine memorabilia.
