Weight of Set: 9.5 ounces / 269g
For your consideration is a pair of marked antique Chinese embroidered silk robe panels or tassels. These garment accessories may have accompanied a wedding robe or acted as a sash or component of a traditional skirt. These colorful examples are hand-embroidered with vibrant flowers, birds, pagodas and a variety of other animals. Additionally, the textile components are beautifully embellished with gold thread and each is marked identically on its period fabric lined backside. Each sash also contains long multi-colored tassels with wooden bead heads.
Provenance: From the private collection of a retired Army Major General in San Antonio, Texas.

Condition
Items are in excellent overall condition with no major damage, tears, losses, stains, foul odors or repairs. There are a couple of missing tassels at the bottom of each sash but these can be easily repaired. Please see all images for more information on condition.
