**First Time At Auction**
Pre-Columbian, Peru, Moche, Chimu, and Inca, ca. 100 to 1532 CE. A wonderful gathering of 8 ancient copper implements from 3 distinct ancient Peruvian cultures. First is a Moche tupu with a scoop-form bottom and a top surmounted by an abstract ungulate. Next is a pair of clothing pins with slender bodies and hemispherical heads. A petite figural pendant features a stylized anthropomorphic body, forked feet, and a fragmentary suspension loop on the verso. Another clothing pin exhibits a lustrous copper hue with a fan-shaped finial ornament. A slender awl bears a tapered head intended for piercing, and two large tumis have sharpened edges and thick tangs. All bear lovely layers of patina across their surfaces. Size of largest: 7" L x 1.1" W (17.8 cm x 2.8 cm)
Provenance: ex-private Drimmer collection, Florida, USA, before 1965

Condition
Fissure to body of one clothing pin with a hemispherical head. All items have light encrustations and light bending to overall forms, otherwise intact and very good. Great patina throughout.
