Includes: (1) Jeremiah Gaither request for warrented resurvey for land called "Duvall's Delight", submitted to Examiner General for examination and within one year to be transferred to Western Shore Office, executed 12/12/1811 "Gaither's Fortune"; G; (1) Request from James Corneill for survey to warrent 1/2 acers of vacant land (paid 55 cents or 11 pence), warrent received Sept. 27 1813, land called "Island of Little Worth"; G, one tear; (1) Certificate of Request survey to secure grant of two acres of vacant land, Thomas Hood received warrent 1/25/1813 "Hobbs Discovery"; (1) Deed from Clement Smith and Wife to Charles Hanshaw 5/25/1835 (along with indentures inside), F-G; (1) Indenture dated 9/26/1829 between Stephen Beard of Anne Arundel Co. John Knighton to be paid $4500, tract called "Two Brothers" of 190 acres, deeded to Knighton, P; (1) Certificate of Plating, mentions McKinzie and James Howard, land called "I Have Done It Well" and "I Can Do It Well" containting 100 acres, mentions "Good Luck" of 50 acres and "Yates Delight", dates mentioned 7/29/1773, 8/24/1773 and 1/20/1775; P; (1) land document, dated March 25, 1836 which mentions tracts of land "Biggs Purchase", "Lebanon", "Lordship Justice" and "Saumel Purchase", various allotments of land, concerning the families of Rinaldo Pindell and A. Duvall, a tract of land called "Corners", etc., poor condition; (1) Extract of the Courses of Hammonds Fourth Connection" resurvey for Philip Hammond; dates metioined March 27 1796 and March 22, 1798; tracts of land mentioned: "Wattses Forest", "Stoners Delight", "Mistake in Friendship", "Worthington's Beginning", "The Trusty Friend", "Hammonds Forrest", laid out 510 acres; waterstains, P; (1) Seth Hyatt of Prince Georges Co. requires Special Warrent secured with Certificate of Survey, 9 acres of vacant land in Anne Arundel Co., paid to treasurer of Western Shore 15 shillings 9 pence, March 10, 1813 warrent sent, received from Jeremiah Jones Feb 22, 1814, folds, G; (1) series of notes concerning a land transfer between Robert Courteney and Richard Burland, dates involved: Dec. 1795, Nov. 14, 1798, Oct. 22, 1790 and July 1806, concerning 222 acres of land; all documents show wear, tears, staining and fading.
