Baby carrier with richly embroidered center section with triangular and diamond shaped sections decorated with silk embroidery and couching over foil, center sections framed with strips of cotton and wool fabrics with applied decoration of circular silver. Silk, cotton, wool, foil, silver repousse plaques, glass beads. Buyi People, South-central Guizhou Province, Pingban County. Size: 37 x 72'', (94 x 183 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
