Baby carrier with field of appliqued cotton repeat; petal-grid outlined in contrasting cotton trim, center of florets embroidered in silk with center panel of silk embroidery of bird, animal and vegetal designs. Cotton tabby cloth, satin cloth, silk thread; embroidery, applique. Zhuang People, Eastern Guangxi Province, Jinxiu County, China. Size: 31.25'' x 34'', (79 x 86 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
