Yao Embroidered Indigo-Dyed Apron, Mid 20th C.Gathered apron of hand woven cotton tabby indigo dyed cloth, embroidered in silk at lower area of skirt. Strips of cotton cloth trim applied to hem. Yao People, Northern Guangdong Province, Liannan County, China. Size: 25.5'' x 29'', (65 x 74 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
