Yao Embroidered Jacket, China, Mid 20th Century. Calf length open front jacket of tabby woven cotton cloth with embroidery on collar, cuffs, hem and upper back. Appliqued strips of red wool twill and cotton tabby at cuff, hem and side slits. Glass bead and silk yarn tassel decoration at base of collar. Size: 43'' x 61.5'', (109 x 156 cm). Provenance: Ex.
