In the manner of ITO UTAGAWA KUNISADA (Japanese 1768-1865) TWO WOODCUTS, LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY, Comprising two polychrome woodcuts with ink. "Two Samurais". 14" x 9 1/4"; "Dancers". 14" x 9 1/4". framed together 19 5/8" x 25 1/2". Provenance: Exhibited in "AN ART HISTORIAN COLLECTS: The David E. Brauer Collection" at the Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile, Alabama February 7 - November 29, 2020. Estate of David E. Brauer, Houston, Texas.

Samurai": minor holes in paper U/L and L/R. "Dancers": minor holes in paper L/L. Minor scuffs on frame. Both possibly slipping behind window mat. text label verso "The genuineness of this print i guaranteed by S...Myanoshita, as attested by his seal to that on the back lower corner of this print."
