JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD CLOISONNE WITH GOLDSTONE LARGE COVERED JAR, octagonal spherical form with finely detailed polychrome enameled decoration, featuring the eight immortals with floral and beaded motifs, cover with large spherical finial, raised on a round foot. Unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 19 1/2" HOA.
Provenance: From a prominent Princeton, NJ family collection.

Condition

Very good overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches, possible minute flakes to enamel on exterior, cover finial with a few areas of restoration. Surface bubbles on some enamel, as made.
