Description
Lot of six biscuit tins. First is a Huntley & Palmer Ben George, c. 1868, considered the first ever printed biscuit tin and in excellent condition. Second is a Huntley & Palmer Court, c. 1870. Third is a Huntley & Palmer Seasons, c. 1885. Fourth is a Huntley & Palmer Nursery, c. 1880. Fifth is a Huntley & Palmer Festal, c. 1887, with a poem on the corners by M. Howitt. Sixth is a Peek Frean Souvenir, c. 1879, in excellent condition. A few tins have minor bends in the metal and some rubbing, but are in great condition considering their age. Condition: (Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Largest: 8 - 1/4" x 2 - 1/4" x 3 - 1/4".
