Aymara Colla Striped Tunic, 18th-19th C. Regionally variable tribal identifier, but always striped among the ancient Colla, the Aymara speaking peoples. Light blue with brown with tubular edge weaving along the bottom called a ribete. Size: 2'10'' x 2'10'' (86 x 86 cm). Ex. Cathryn Cootner Estate Collection, Sonoma, CA.
