Dr. Egil served on the boards of the Edmonton Opera, Alberta Ballet, Edmonton Art Gallery and Theatre Network. He founded the Vik Gallery on 104th Street where he was proud to represent such artists as Joane Cardinal-Shubert, Jane Ash Poitras and Jim Davies (Source: Edmonton Journal).
