Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Famille Rose Porcelain Stick Bottle Vase. Potted in large shape vase, thick and tall cylindrical body, short neck with flaring round mouth lip, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of walking mythical beast Qilin surrounded flower, rocky rock, foliage, flaming vapors and scrolling ruyi clouds. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
