Description
An Early 19th century English Staffordshire porcelain figurine of Alexander I Pavlovich (Emperor and Tsar of Russia, 1777-1825). Underglaze painting. The emperor is depicted in a guard's uniform with the orders of St. Andrew the First-Called and St. George IV degree. Based on sculpture by Jean-Dominique Rachette (Yakov Ivanovich Rachette) (Russian, French origin, 1744-1809). The paper label showing detailed information about the artwork under the base.
Dimensions: H: 11 1/2 in.
Condition
Overall condition good, light signs of wear. There is a tiny crack placed on the top of the head.
