A very good example of the Mexican war era pepperbox pistol made by Allen and Thurber. Nicely marked in one of the barrel flutes Allen and Thurber Worcester. Deeply stamped on the bar hammer is Allen’s patent 1845. 100% original, 100% complete, and mechanically perfect. This has 4 inch barrels and is 36 caliber. The grips are solid and handsome walnut bag style grips. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++. Packing and shipping $15. Insurance is $1.50 per $100 in value. Signature service is three dollars. Add five dollars for united parcel service.
