Description
A group of 4 Near Eastern seals and stone objects. Lot includes an Anatolian alabaster head from a Kilia 'star gazer' idol, c. 2700 - 2100 BC, in white alabaster, 26 x 25 mm. The second is a creme marble stamp seal, 1st Millennium BC, with domed body and an incised bull on the base, 13 x 9 mm, the third is a blue glass stone stamp seal, 1st Millennium BC, with winged deity on the base, 12 x 12 mm, and the last is a carnelian bead, 1st Millennium BC, 17 x 16 mm, drilled lengthwise. Ex collection of Peter Cheremisinoff, NJ.
