Description
A lot of 3 Roman ring stones, c. 1st - 3rd Century AD. Lot includes a Roman carnelian intaglio with the name 'Demetrius', in two lines written in Greek, (10 x 7 mm), the second is a chalcedony intaglio with a panther, the stone nicely patinated and with a crème color, (10 x 7 mm), and the last is a domed ring stone of turquoise, (13 x 11 mm), the stone aged a greenish color. A nice mixed group! Ex collection of Peter Cheremisinoff, NJ.
