Description
A late Roman / Byzantine terracotta pottery vessel, c. 5th - 6th Century AD, formed from heavy grit clay, perhaps from Egypt, with dark grey-black slip, the rounded shoulders with a pointed projection on either side. H: 6 1/8 in (15.4cm). Light deposits. Ex Northern California private collection.
