This is an interesting look at the Filibuster War in Nicaragua from an insider who was known as one of William Walkers most dependable soldiers. He received numerous wounds during the war. The book was a gift and is inscribed on the inside "From W.K. Rogers to Sam Brooks believing it may revive memories of old times in the names of many mentioned herein. Birthday 20 May 10". Unable to identify either person.
