Chinese Ming Dynasty WanLi Blue and White Lotus Porcelain Jar. Potted with a vessel shape, globular belly, heavy on shoulder, short neck, round close mouth lip and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of lotus blossom interpsed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The glaze is lustrous and glittering, giving a sense of fresh and worthy of collection.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years WanLi Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
