Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Alum Red Dragon Porcelain Pot. This porcelain has an open mouth with a slightly out-turned lip, small, short neck, bulging belly on the mid, raised on ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue and red fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
