A pair of white jade bird shaped boxes dating to the 18th to 19th century. The two boxes are carved to look like phoenixes.
Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 3.81 cm X 5.72 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both have chips to the back of the feet, one has a small chip on the head.
Provenance: From a private collection in Lower Manhattan, New York City.
