Description
A pair of German Meissen porcelain candelabra, modeled in the Meissen style, encrusted all over with fruiting vine and flowers, the bases decorated with a shepherd with monkey and shepherdess with parrot figurines above rocaille-molded scroll feet. Marked with underglaze blue mark. Circa late 19th- early 20th century. Provenance: The Christie's: THE HOUSE SALE Lot 393, September 7, 2005, lot # 393.
