Meissen German porcelain Art Nouveau figurine. A Neoclassical figural work titled, "Amor Feeding Nightingales," model N 195, designed by Rudolph Holbe (1848-1926), circa 1900. A large, glazed youthful putti angel figure holding a basin of water from which he is feeding small birds. Modeled on a circular base stand. Profuse floral forms, and gilt embellishments. With Meissen crossed swords backstamp and impressed model number N 195, with antique gallery tag NICOLAUS FRANZ NACHF. FRANKFURT, all to underside.
