MICHAEL MILEY (LEXINGTON, VA, 1841-1918), SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA PHOTOGRAPHS, LOT OF 26, including three view of the Alex Moore Place, two groups of well-dressed men and women on outings, one taken at Crabtree Falls, the other with a "Gents Bathing Times" sign on tree, two unidentified outdoor scenes, CDV of Major General Francis Henney Smith, plus other CDVs and images of people, some identified. Most stamped for Miley or Boude & Miley. Together with a Michael Miley museum exhibition catalogue held at Washington and Lee, 1980. Twenty-seven (27) pieces total. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 5 1/4" x 8 1/2" largest.
