Southeast Asia, Burma (Myanmar), ca. 14th century CE. A lovely ensemble of 3 pottery bowls, each presenting a hemispherical form with a circular rim and applied ring-shaped foot. All 3 vessels are beautifully adorned with forest green and white glaze and feature an abstract petaloid motif on their interior, each of varying styles and composition. The interior of each bowl is embellished by 1 to 2 green rings surrounding the rim and a central tondo at the basin: one displaying the image of a bird and the other 2 each decorated with a many-petalled flower. Size (all about the same): 5" W x 2.75" H (12.7 cm x 7 cm)

Collection labels on bases of each. All are repaired with restoration. Some abrasions and pitting to all. Otherwise, all are excellent with nice craquelure to glaze.
