Description
**First Time At Auction**
Egypt, Coptic culture, ca. 4th to 6th century CE. A fine mold-made pottery vessel displaying a circular body with convex walls, a narrow neck, and a flared rim, all sitting upon a pair of petite feet. Boasting a russet-hued surface, the ancient vessel is adorned on 2 sides with a pair of twin reliefs, each displaying an elaborate central tondo of a petalled flower surrounded by dotted and striated borders. Size: 2.375" L x 1.75" W x 3.5" H (6 cm x 4.4 cm x 8.9 cm); 5.25" H (13.3 cm) on included custom stand.
This piece has been tested using thermoluminescence (TL) analysis and has been found to be ancient and of the period stated. A full report will accompany purchase.

Expected nicks and abrasions throughout. Otherwise, excellent with nice remaining detail. TL drill holes on base and inside top of one handle.
