In addition to his impressive business acumen, he was a man of artistic pursuits, collecting antiques, porcelains, oriental rugs, and artwork of many different genres.

Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Dragon Motif Porcelain High Stem Bowl. This bowl has a lightly flaring open mouth-rim, round body shaped, deep arced body, raised in a high-foot ring and deep concave, High foot bowl, also known as Ba Wan. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of Imperial dragon are borne in floating clouds, flame, above Lishui waves.
