Chinese Song Dynasty Jun ware porcelain Jar. This porcelain has an round open mouth with a slightly out-turned lip, short thick neck leads to a convex bulging mid belly with a shr
ink bottom, raised on the round foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in Lujun design color. The surface of the glaze has a fluid appearance with a splash of purplish colors melting together to create abstracted effect against a turquoise-green ground underglaze. Smooth surfaces are covered in a mixture of green and blue giving it an artistic feel. Glazed to perfection with each flattened side reflecting light and drawing in the attention of the eye.

The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
