Chinese Song Dynasty Jun Kiln Flori Form Porcelain Plate on Stand. The plate has a broad wide central interior, flori form mouth lip, thick, large, raised on correspondence footed ring base and slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in Jun. Kiln design color. The variable glazes include red and blue colors, thick, multi-colored, brilliant like sunset glow. The surface of the glaze has a fluid appearance with a splash of purplish colors melting together to create abstracted effect against a turquoise-green ground underglaze. Smooth surfaces are covered in a mixture of green and blue giving it an artistic feel. Glazed to perfection with each flattened side reflecting light and drawing in the attention of the eye.

The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
