Description
Pre-Columbian, Peru, Nazca, ca. 200 to 500 CE. A hand-built set of pottery pan pipes with highly burnished, red-orange surfaces and a distinctly tapered body. The musical instrument features 8 cylindrical pipes of varying lengths that perhaps was able to product a full octave of notes at one time.
