AMERICAN FOLK ART DRAWINGS / REWARDS OF MERIT, LOT OF SEVEN, watercolor on paper, comprising a drawing of two cucumbers presented on a transferware platter signed "Emeline Viles" in the lower right corner, and a group of six merit drawings of pink flowers or fruit with green leaves, most or all by the same hand, three having "Merit" written in ink in lower right corners and one with "Fourth Class David T. Adams" along bottom edge. Each housed under glass in a wood or painted frame. 19th century. Cucumber example 7 5/8" x 3" sight, 9 1/8" x 4 1/2" OA.
Good to very good overall condition with light to moderate toning and spotting to paper; Daniel T. Adams merit with a short tear to left edge. Frames with minor wear. Not examined out of frames.
