Description
Two late 19th century color chromolithograph illustration plates from The Medical and Surgical History of the War of the Rebellion – Part I, Volume II. Includes: "Plate VI. Gunshot Fractures of the Cranium" and "Plate VIII. Shot Wounds of the Face and Neck". T. Sinclair & Son lithographer, Philadelphia, after images by Edward Stauch. Includes names and ranks of each soldier pictured. Very good condition with bright colors; normal signs of age, etc. Images 6 1/4" x 8 1/8" and 6 3/8" x 8 1/8". Paper 8 3/4" x 11 3/4".
