The dish wall is finely carved in blue and white fine color, is an excellent object with many carps swim over grass, flower, foliage and the water plants. The carp symbolizes a wish for benefit or advantage in business, and accepted to represent longevity, wealth, abundance, and perseverance.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines, Made In The Years Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
